How it works

Follow one sale all the way through.

A builder buys paint on his trade account at a hardware store. Here is everything Accura does with that one invoice — and everything nobody has to re-key.

  1. 0110:42 am

    The cashier rings it up

Scan the barcodes or type a few letters. Pick the tin or the carton; the price follows the customer’s price level, GST included. Choose “on account” and the customer.

    • Barcode, camera or search
    • Cartons and singles on one sale
    • Cash, EFTPOS, split or on account
  2. 0210:42 am

    The credit limit is checked

Before the invoice is saved, Accura adds it to what the customer already owes. Over the limit, the till stops — only someone allowed to can let it through.

    • Limit and terms per customer
    • Open invoices with their age
    • Statements to print or share
  3. 0310:43 am

    The stock moves

The paint leaves the shop floor. When the floor runs low, a transfer brings more from the storeroom — and “what to order” notices before the storeroom runs out.

    • Stock per shelf, storeroom and shop
    • Transfers and stocktakes with reasons
    • Low-stock and fast-seller list
  4. 0410:43 am

    The books post themselves

The invoice is a double-entry voucher: the customer’s account up, sales and GST collected up, stock down at cost. Profit & loss and the quarter’s GST are current the moment it’s saved.

    • Day book and trial balance
    • Profit & loss and balance sheet
    • GST for the BAS
  5. 055:30 pm

    Cash-up

The cashier counts the till note by note; any over or under is posted with a note. The owner sees the day’s sales, who owes what and what’s running low.

    • Cash count by denomination
    • Overs and unders recorded, not hidden
    • Today’s summary for the owner

Ledgers, GST, reports — and closing the period.
